These  are my mews.  They were built about 11 years ago.  The
two  smaller mews are 16 feet high, 16 feet deep and 8 feet wide.  My
eagle mew  is the largest  (on the far  left hand side) and it  is 16
feet square.   Instead of using wood slats such as 1X2's, I use heavy
strength,  1/2" electrical conduit.   Using this eliminates any  foot
problems due to massive slivers which can imbed into the raptors toes
or feet when it strikes the "bars" during free lofting which is quite
common during the moult.
