Welcome to the only web page for Professional Body Modification
and Adult Items in Price, Utah. My name is Eddie and I am the owner of
Diversity, Price's only professional Body Piercing & Body Modification
shop.
This business began as a home based "hobby" beginning January 1997
specifically performing body piercings. As my business grew I decided
to relocate to our Main Street location as there were too many people
wanting professional body piercings. After moving, I had a lot of empty
space to fill so I decided to carry joke gag gifts for adults who were
18 years of age or older, and then tobacco pipes. (Keep in mind that
our pipes are for tobacco and legal blends ONLY! Any reference to any
illegal or controlled substances in my store will not be tolerated; you
will be kicked out!!!!!!)
I have been piercing for 20+ years. It began in
high school for a few friends but it was never
really known. Many years ago if you had your
nose, or other body parts pierced and people knew
it, you were simply a "freak" or a "trouble
maker."
While ear piercings are socially acceptable, some
people even have a difficult time understanding
why some people want an ear piercing like the one
pictured to the right. This is an ear cartilage
piercing; its called a conch piercing. It was
done with a 10 gauge, 5/8" Captive Bead Ring. The
typical cartilage piercing is the one at the top
of this ear.

Today, even in a small community like mine,
body piercings are becoming much more pop-
ular, understood and tolerated. Parents now
realize that we are not living in their
generation and that piercings are a way of
self expression and for enhancing our
looks. In some cases they also enhance the
sensual feeling too. While some people may
think that the picture to the left is just
a little bit extreme, or the one just
below; we all keep in mind that it is that
persons' right to look how ever they want
and that's what makes us all an individual!
Before getting certain piercings your piercer
may need to examine that part of your body.
While each gender has the same body parts,
some piercings are body part specific and
must be of appropriate size to accomidate the
proper body jewelry. All people should only
be pierced with 316L surgical stainless
steel, titanium, niobium and solid 14K or 18K
gold. Cheap jewelry like ear piercing studs,
sterling silver and items such as straight
pins, diaper pins, bobby pins, staples, nails
and thin gauge wire are not appropriate and
most people will have a severe reaction to
the metals which places many people in the
hospital with severe infections! Remember,
if you buy cheap, you buy twice! Also, would
you bargain shop for a heart surgeon?

Needless to say everything that comes in
contact with you at Diversity has been
properly sterilized in an Autoclave. The
autoclave is the only sterilization de-
vice recognized by OSHA and the medical
community that will completely kill all
harmful organisms and blood borne patho-
gens such as the Hepititis, Mono and HIV
viruses. NEVER GET ANYTHING PIERCED WITH
AN EAR PIERCING GUN! THESE GUNS CANNOT
BE AUTOCLAVED AND ARE FAMOUS FOR PASSING
ALONG DISEASES LIKE HEPITITIS AND THE
AIDS VIRUS! You only have ONE body, so
take care of it and don't be cheap!!! We
are TESTED and PASSED by the Southeastern Utah Health Department for
sterility!

A Perfect Navel Piercing
While I do my best to keep the jewelry
prices low, you must keep one thing in
mind. You get what you pay for with body
jewelry. I only sell top of the line body jewelry. If you want cheap crap
then you can go somewhere else. You only have one body so it is important
to take care of it!!
Cheap jewelry will most likely cause problems in your new piercing and
externally threaded jewelry will hurt like a bugger going in unless we use
a larger needle which will allow the jewelry to sit all the way down in-
side the needle.
