Nepenthes gracilis

Pure or Hybrid: Pure Type: Lowland - Grows below 3000 feet above sea level. They experience hot days, warm nights and continuous high humidity! Origin: Sarawak, Borneo Adult Pitcher: Upper pitchers: 4" to 6" tall. Lower pitchers: 2" to 3" tall. Lighting: Needs bright light, but not direct sun light. If kept in a greenhouse, it requires 50% shade cloth. Watering: Water from above and allow the excess to completely drain. Water daily in this method. Does not like to be kept in standing water! Comments: This is a fine but beautiful plant that is a large scrambler. It is very easy to grow and usually require constant pruning to trim back over- growth. The normal color is green & red pitchers but there is also a dark form as pitchered below. Where I got it: Malesiana Tropicals
