Nepenthes fusca
|
Pure or Hybrid: Pure
Type: Highland - Grows between 3000 feet &
10,000 feet above sea level. They
experience warm days, cool nights
and continuous high humidity!
Origin: Kinabalu, Sabah
Adult Pitcher: Near 10" tall.
Lighting: Needs bright light, but not direct
sun light. If kept in a greenhouse,
it requires 50% shade cloth.
Watering: Water from above and allow the excess
to drain into a tray. Water like this
when water is gone from the tray!
Comments: These plants produce tall, narrow
pitchers. The peristome is also more
narrow than most species. The
pitchers are usually green and very
spotted with dark red. The lid is
narrow and more of a triangular
shape and curve downwards.
Where I got it: Malesiana Tropicals
