Pure or Hybrid: Pure Type: Lowland - Grows below 3000 feet above sea level. They experience hot days, warm nights and continuous high humidity! Origin: West Sumatra Adult Pitcher: ? Lighting: Needs bright light, but not direct sun light. If kept in a greenhouse, it requires 50% shade cloth. Watering: Water from above and allow the excess to completely drain. Water daily in this method. Does not like to be kept in standing water! Comments: A beautiful pitcher plant, this species was previously thought to be a Sumatran variety of N. alata. The pitchers are usually white at the base and suffused with red or pink. Where I got it: Malesiana Tropicals
