Do you have a cage that looks like the one pictured below? If
you do, give your birds away because YOU are ABUSING them!!!!!
There is absolutely NO reason your cage should look like this
at all! This is PURE LAZINESS on your part, not the birds.
Remember that our caged friends are part of our family and
they need to be taken care of. That means you need to get off
your dead, lazy ass and feed and water them with the appropri-
ate food for the species and clean their cage. Can you tell I
am pissed off right now??? Cause I am!

The cage pictured below was brought to me at my place of work
because the woman was going to jail for drugs. I know that
for a fact because the piece of shit trash is my cousin. She
told her ex-husband (divorced, imagine that) to take care of
the two cockatiels that were living in this horrible cage and
in turn he just called her parents to come and get them. When
they brought me the cage and birds I about pissed myself
while I was gagging. The smell was absolutely retched. There
were even maggots crawling all over the bottom of the cage.
The water dish was dark brown and rotting and what little
seed was in the bowl was WILD BIRD SEED! Talk about a sad and
horribly slow death......it's called starvation. There was
NO trace of the birds ever being given any type of fresh food
at all either. Convienently, the pearl went straight for the
pellets and I'm sure the gray will follow!

A few more details.....the cage is one for a single budgie,
or a parakeet if that is what you still call them. There
were a couple of perches, a couple of old disgusting toys and
3 seed dishes and one for water. The bottom of the cage had
not been clean for at least 6 months according to the drug
addict-bitches family (who by the way are GREAT people).
Between the feces and old seed it was about 5 inches thick
and the smell would knock ANYONE over. Like I said above, I
was gagging from the smell and I have a very strong stomach!!

As for the birds themselves they both got right up on my
finger to go into their new, clean cage with good food and
clean water! One of them is a pearl, sex unknown, and the
other one looks like it is a normal gray hen. Both are in
horrible feather condition most likely due to the poor diet
they have received. The pearl has been pulling the feathers
out of the gray one on the wrist area of both wings. Their
crest feathers are very small and extremely thin. When I
picked them up I also about pissed myself. Their weight is
down really bad. It felt as if I was picking up a budgie
with both birds. As soon as they were in the cage they dove
right into the food. It is just a sad situation!!!

So, if your cage looks like this one pictured below, give the
birds away to someone who can actually take care of them and
if you think your still deserving of a pet...get a damn rock!

Here are a couple pics of each bird for you to see:
